Are we still in the mode of Christmas crafting or have we now entered full-fledged Christmas shopping mania? Well I’m still making ornaments for my tree this year! It’s like I can’t stop. I made some easy DIY ornaments this past weekend and am sharing them with you today. I love them because all you need to do is choose some paper that matches your decor and you’re all set!

These are super easy & cheap to make… a winning combination!
Supplies needed:
- 1×1 wooden dowel, cut to desired length (I did 6″)
- Pretty, festive assorted scrapbook paper
- eye hooks
- Mod Podge
- paint (I used white)
STEP ONE: Paint wooden dowels, if desired, and allow to dry. I think it would also be awesome stained! Cut scrapbook paper to size so that it is just smaller than each side of dowel. Mod Podge paper to each side of dowel and allow to dry completely.
STEP TWO: Drill a small pilot hole in end of dowel and insert eye hook.
STEP THREE: Embellish and hang on your tree!
