As I’ve mentioned before I am the “Teacher Appreciation Person” (not the official name, I’m guessing) for the PTO at my kids’ school. This means that several times throughout the year I make a little something for each of the 96 teachers and staff members there. This usually coincides with a holiday (see my Fall one here). It also means that I need to so a little something for EACH DAY of Teacher Appreciation Week which, at our school, starts today.
The next few posts will be me sharing what I did. I realize most of you won’t be needing to make 96 things but perhaps it will inspire you to think of something for your child’s teacher. You can also use these ideas as “thank yous” for anyone!
Now, without further ado, my first contribution this week:
- clear party favor bags
- variety of bubble gum (got this all in the candy aisle of WalCrap)
- twine or ribbon to tie the bag closed
- tag punch (or just cut the tags into rectangles)
- printed tags which I’ve supplied below
Link parties I participate in: Tip Junkie, Someday Crafts, Tatertots & Jello, I Heart Naptime, Lolly Jane, Be Different Act Normal, Craftomaniac, Today’s Creative Blog, Flamingo Toes, Skip To My Lou, Thrifty Decor Chick
I love it! And bless your heart for blessing the teachers 🙂 We ALWAYS look forward to this week!!
LOVE this idea ~ thanks for sharing with us 🙂
What a great idea! You are so kind to put all of these together. 🙂
What a fun idea! Original, inexpensive and thoughtful– a great combination. I am sure your efforts made a lot of people happy!
So clever and love the tag. Many Thanks for sharing 🙂
love this-i need one more idea for this week and this may be it if i can get to the store 🙂 if not, definitely filing for next year-thanks so much for the printable!
This is great!
And also the ‘teacher appreciation’-thing itself is amazing. Teachers and the schools staff need to know once in a while that they’re appreciated and valued.
We didn’t have this thing in my school-time, but we definetly should have!
Love it! Please post on your pinterest board so I can repin it. 🙂
When I print, it is blurry and the “Thank you for everything” can’t be read. It’s not crisp at all. What am I doing wrong? I love the idea.
Hi Gina! Not sure what the issue is! Email me at landeeseelandeedo (at) gmail dot com and I’ll email you the file directly.
Thanks!
Landee
This is such a cute printable. I really want to use this but I’m having the same problem as Gina, when I print it it blurry. Can you help me fix the problem? I really want to use this this week!!
Thanks!
I love the “You Always Blow Us Away” tags! I tried to save them and print as suggested above and the text is blurry. Do you have the images available in a crisper more clear format that I can download?
Thanks so much!
