The romance wears off, you guys. It’s nice to do something romantic every so often but with the day-to-day stuff? THIS is where it’s at. A consistent concern for your spouse (and vice versa) trumps a candlelit dinner every night or expensive flowers every day. What good are those romantic things if your spouse doesn’t care about the little things of each day and your well-being in general? Luckily for my husband, I’m not a big “romance” person anyway but I don’t think I’m alone in feeling like I’d rather have a kind, thoughtful, helpful spouse rather than one who musters up big acts of romance on occassion. Am I alone here? I’m guessing most husbands would feel the same. 🙂
Have a wonderful Sunday, friends!
