After taking down Christmas this year I wasn’t quite in the mood for Valentine’s Day yet so I decided to, for the first time ever, I might add, decorate for winter. Why have I never done this before? I love the white and cool blue and silver colors that are typically associated with winter so what was my problem? I dunno. But I’m thinking this won’t be my last time to try and celebrate the snowy winter months.
This year it was also easy for me to put this winter mantel together because I had already created my Let It Snow sign a couple of months ago and couldn’t wait to put it prominently on display. It didn’t get a lot of face time during Christmas and I heart it big time.
To complete the wintery look I just printed out some black and white photos of my kids frolicking in the snow. Easy and the kids love it!
I then made a little “snowball garland” that I will be sharing the how-to on later this week and I thought it was perfect!
Just a fun wintery display until my Valentine’s Day mood kicks in! 🙂
Do you decorate for winter? I know a lot of people do and I love it!
Hope you’re having a fantastic winter and keeping warm!
Love it!
I love your mantle!! The Snow sign is super cute!!
Thanks Crystal! 🙂
Love your mantel. The let it snow is adorable. I can’t wait to learn about those snowballs. And your scallop frame is so cute. Where can I find that?
I love the sign. I might have to make one for myself. I do decorate in January with a snow and snowman theme. It’s hard to find snowmen that don’t look like they’re still tied into Christmas so whenever I find one I snag it up!
