I love today’s post from Laura at Left on Peninsula Road! How adorable is this Valentine?? And she created it with an app that anyone can use too! Love that!
Today I have a fun printable Valentine to share with you. I think this would make a great non-candy option for a teacher. Or your daughter or granddaughter? Maybe even a fun treat for your favorite babysitter? (Especially if they’re watching the kids so you can go out!)
- EOS lip balm for each Valentine (I chose the strawberry kiwi.)
- You’re the BOMB! Valentines printed on white card stock
- Scissors (or craft knife)
Print the pdf on white card stock making sure to print it at actual size. (If you expand or shrink to fit your paper the hole will be the wrong size for the lip balm.) Cut the Valentine’s apart and trim. Using a scissors or craft knife, cut out the white circle.
Open the lip balm and carefully place the hole in the Valentine between the two halves. Close the lip balm. Easy, right?
This printable was really fun to put together. After sketching out some ideas with pencil and paper, I sat down with my iPad and a stylus and used an app called iDraw. It was a fun change of pace for me and allowed me to achieve a little bit of the hand-drawn feel I wanted for this design. I hope you have as much much fun sharing this printable as I had creating it!
Thanks for having me back Landee! Until next time…
Isn’t that so amazing? I love the play on words with bomb/balm. I love the hand drawn look and how she created it! I can’t wait to try it out! I’m absolutely going to make one of these to give to my daughter. She’s going to love it! Be sure to check out Laura’s blog and social media sites and follow along (links below) so you don’t miss any of her other fantastic ideas and projects! Thanks Laura!
