I decided that this year I would share my Christmas tree. I’ve never done it before but I am particularly in love with it this year. In years past I have done mostly neutrals with pops of red and turquoise and green for my Christmas tree decorations. This year I went all metallic neutrals and white and I love how it turned out! I used burlap/lace ribbon and a striped dark grey and white ribbon (found both at Hobby Lobby) to “set the tone” and then went from there.
I loved getting out my Confetti Painted Ornaments that I made last year!
My only other purchase for the tree this year (besides the ribbons) are these awesome deer head ornaments I found at Lowe’s… wha? I LOVE them! Deer head + white + ornament was just what I needed for my tree this year. They make me so happy.
The beauty of having a silver AND gold tree is then I really could do ANYTHING with the rest of my decorations. I mixed all kinds of metallics this year and love the result!
Do you mix metallics? What is your favorite Christmas tree decorations color scheme for trees you’ve seen this year? I’m already dreaming about next year. 🙂
Merry Christmas decorating!
