Hello and welcome!
So glad you’re here! The beginning of a new year makes me antsy to get organized. Are you the same? First on my list was my atrocious spice cupboard! Are you looking for an easy way to organize those spices that have taken over your kitchen? Fantastic! I was too.
Today I’m sharing some adorable free printable spice labels for you to do just that! Print, cut and apply and you’ll be all set to easily find the spices you need when you need them!
Full disclosure: My spice cabinet was a DISASTER. Every time I opened it I was worried I’d be buried alive in an avalanche of expired cake mixes, bottles of vanilla extract (I had about 7 bottles of the stuff in there), multiple containers of the same spices (because I never knew if I had it or not so I kept re-buying–UGH!) and countless other things that somehow had been shoved in there. I could never find the spices I needed and I had become incredibly frustrated with the entire operation.
Finally I came up with a plan to end the madness.
A long time ago I had put some wasted space to good use when I created my Magnetic Command Center on the side of my fridge. You can see how I did that HERE and HERE. Over the past few years the functionality of that space has changed as we have needed to adapt for our kids getting older and family needs changing. Thank goodness it’s all magnetic so that is easy to do!
I decided to order some awesome spice tins that were magnetic (affiliate) on the bottom and change that area on the side of my fridge into my new spice rack! Yay! This would serve two purposes… clearing out some cupboard space AND putting all my spices out (but also out of the way) on display to easily find the ones I am looking for!
So I got to designing some fun printable spice labels and I couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out!
Free Printable Spice Labels
Do you want to get your own spices all organized and pretty? This is what you’ll need (may contain affiliate links. See here for full disclosure):
- Download color printable spice labels file HERE (if you want a more neutral look you can get the all black version HERE)
- Full sheet sticker paper to print on
- Magnetic spice tins (or any spice jars would work as long as they will fit a 1.5 inch circle sticker on the top)
- 1.5 inch circle punch
Simply print the file onto the full sheet sticker paper and then punch each label out with your 1.5 inch circle punch. Fill your spice tins with your spices and label accordingly! If you have the drawer space I think these would look amazing inside a drawer too!

NOTE: after printing and taking all of my photos I could not get the script font to embed in the PDF! So frustrating! So I changed the font slightly to get it to work. I actually think I like it better now and might have to redo all of my labels now! Ha! You can see the font that will be on the file you download below. You can also see what the labels will look like in black!

These are so cute and colorful! I may just have to rethink my spice organization. Thanks for sharing!
Is there a fillable version of the PDF for the blank labels? Or an editable file? Thanks.
I love these so much!! I’m going to use them for my new spice jars. I’ll post a pic when I’m finished.
Just wondering if there’s a way I could edit them? There are 8 spices that I need that aren’t on here, and I have terrible printing! Lol. Please let me know 🙂
Thanks,
Lila
If you have any photo editing software you could upload the sheet with blank labels and add the text that way. Good luck and thanks for stopping by!
Trying to add in my spices that werent on the list, can you tell me what fonts you used so they all look the same?
Hi Beth! The fonts I used were Letter Gothic STD (which you can get here http://fontsgeek.com/fonts/Letter-Gothic-Std-Medium) and Isabella Script (which you can get here: https://crmrkt.com/3jzPbJ)
Thank you for sharing these!
You’re so welcome! Thanks for stopping by!
