One of the key elements to organizing my new closet is great storage bins. They corral all of the smaller and unsightly things and keep everything looking nice and tidy.
I decided to use the Kvarnvik storage boxes from Ikea to store the things that I used less often: swimming suits, extra socks, old t-shirts that I didn’t really want to wear but that I just couldn’t part with for sentimental reasons, etc. I love these boxes because they are quite large, have lids and look fantastic.
One of my favorite things about them are the cool label holders/handles they have on their sides.
I wanted to make some custom labels using a nice font (I don’t always love my handwriting) so I decided to make a printable specific to these labels and I’m sharing it with you today!
To make your own labels simply right-click and save the image below….
(or you can download it HERE)
Then open the label image in a photo editing program such as PicMonkey or Photoshop.
Add text to the image in whatever font you want and print it out on some cute scrapbook paper.
Cut out each label shape and slip it into the holder and you’ve got yourself some nice customized labels for your storage boxes!
I have loved the little detail of my pink polka dot labels! They are a fun contrast to all of the white and emerald I have going on in there. It’s alllll in the details, right?
Thanks for stopping by!

I love my kvarnvik storage boxes. Where did you get the smaller storage boxes in your closet?
I got those smaller storage boxes at The Container Store!
Hi Landee…I love the Kvarnvik labels you created! Just wondering the name of the font you used (I’ll be using photo editor, PicMonkey). Thanks again for this fantastic organizational idea and template!
Thanks for making this. I was about to make my own until my husband had the bright idea to search. It was great to use Canva to add font.
Thanks so much for this template! I just scored 4 of the larger size of these boxes in the scratch & dent area at Ikea (they were floor samples of the discontinued vanilla color). I brought them home, taped them up, and spray painted them in my accent color, a pretty robin’s egg blue. They will sit on the shelves in my family room, and hold necessary, but not so lovely-to-look-at things like cables and cords, and light bulbs, but if I don’t label them, I am sure I will need to open each one to find what I am looking for. You’re a sweetheart for sharing these!
