I’m so excited to have my mantel all decked out for Halloween! If you’ve been reading my blog for a while then it should come as no surprise to you that giant photos of my kids take center stage. Photos are my favorite way to decorate! Halloween costumes: check. Memories displayed: check. Cute kids: check, check, check!
To go along with my photo display I also designed some Halloween boards (which are available for sale in my Etsy shop! It’s time to confess that I design stuff for my shop based almost solely on what I want/need for my own decor. I’m a little selfish that way– Sorry!).
I also loved getting out my Ikea lantern filled with the fabric balls I made last year. I still think they are adorable! I also spray painted that candlestick and wrought-iron pumpkin black last year (below). Still love them.
And, of course, I have my Google Eye Garland….
…. and that completes our tour of my Halloween Mantel! 🙂
I could sit and stare at those photos all day (and I might). I also love that with the exception of that little porcelain skeleton, I had a hand in making at least part of every other element of this mantel (including the kids IN the photos–ha!). Yay me! 🙂
Have you started decorating for Halloween yet? I’m moving on to the front entry now. I have some fun ideas that have yet to be executed… story of my life!
