You know I love to decorate my mantel. Search “mantel” over there to the right on my search bar and you will see, no holiday is too small for which to decorate my mantel! <<< Nice grammar, right? 🙂 So, even though I am already busy figuring out my Christmas mantel this year, I couldn’t resist putting up a fall mantel… even if it will only be there for a few weeks. And this year I wanted to do something a little different from the usual “harvesty” feel that many fall decorations lean toward. I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to do but when the Lolly Jane girls posted this Fall Antler Art I was like “YES!” It was exactly what I was looking for! It gave me direction and a color scheme… that was all I needed.
I immediately downloaded the file from their site and printed it at Costco as a 16×20. I popped it in my fresh white Ikea frame and then built my decor around it. I designed that pumpkin garland to coordinate with it! You can download it HERE.
Admittedly I think I got a little carried away on the flower arrangement there. 🙂 I was just so happy that I had a bunch of the colors that I needed in my silk flower collection that I just kept cramming them in there! Then I snapped off some branches from my trees in my backyard for some added interest… free!
I also had some of my Pumpkin Words that I sell in my Etsy shop already on a couple of my white pumpkins so I thought I might as well use them! I like what they add with the sentiments and touch of gold too.
I had used that pumpkin on the pedestal on my Halloween mantel and I shopped the house for that turquoise “A” and I was done!
So a fresh & fun fall mantel with a slightly less traditional but still fall-ish color scheme. I love it! I’m excited to enjoy it through Thanksgiving!
Super cute! I especially love the picture! Perfect for Fall!
