I can’t believe we are heading into the holidays!  Time to start decorating, crafting and shopping!  There are some people who are blessed with the talent of gift-giving.  They always seem to know exactly what a person would want/need/cherish.  I am not one of those people.  I am forever stumped!  Especially when it comes to little gifts for friends.  Well, today I am not only helping myself out, but you as well!  I am sharing some of MY favorite things and so are 29 other bloggers! We’d like to take a moment to recognize a site and blogger friend, Joan Hayes, whom we lost unexpectedly over a week ago. She was supposed to be a part of this Favorite Things event, and suddenly passed away from a heart attack just before this went live. She was a single mom with 3 children, and the website she ran, Chocolate, Chocolate, and More, was her main source of income for her family. Here is a close up and detailed look at the gift I’m giving, MY favorite things. I truly love each of the things below for all kind of different reasons.  From beauty products to crafting supplies to home decor… they are all my favorite!

Happy Handmade Home by A Beautiful Mess bloggers Elsie Larsen and Emma Chapman: If you haven’t ever heard of the blog A Beautiful Mess you need to go check it out!  I love their style and whimsical decorating vibe.  This book inspired so many ideas for me to do in my own home.  Even if you don’t do their exact projects, the ideas will certainly get your wheels turning!  I love it!

Home Is Wherever I’m With You sign: One of my favorite designs I have created for my Etsy shop!  I love the trendy arrows and, of course, the gold!

Threshold Dish Towel:  I am SUPER picky about my dish towels.  They have to be stylish enough to have out but they also have to be absorbant and do their job!  After trying many many different towels I found these at Target and I have now bought about 10 of them.  They come in a few different colors and I love them all!

Threshold Mini Rolling Pin:  I mean, c’mon!  Look at it!  A hint of plaid on a ceramic mini rolling pin??  To die for.  

Idea Notebooks (found these at Target):  I can never seem to have enough little notebooks around.  I need them in my purse, by my computer, in my car… someplace to jot an idea or two down when the mood strikes.  I know I have the Notes app on my phone but there is something about pen and paper that I will never get over.

BB Frosch Chalk Paint Powder:  Have you tried this stuff??  I’m a BB Frosch believer!  It can transform any flat paint into chalk paint which means ANY COLOR with little to no prep work involved.  I’ve used it quite a few times now and I haven’t been disappointed yet.  I’m thinking about becoming a master myself and doing workshops because there are SO MANY different ways to use this stuff!  Super affordable too!  Love it.

Too Faced Eyeshadow Primer:  If I’m ever asked to share a favorite thing, this is what I share.  The eyeshadow primer has changed my life!  Well, it has at least changed the life of my eyeshadow.  Before I started using it my eyeshadow would be gone or nearly gone by evening time.  It also wouldn’t even go on very dark.  Now, I put some of this on my eyelid and now my eyeshadow goes on much more pigmented and stays on until I take it off.  It’s brilliant!  My only warning is, once you’ve tried it you can’t live without it… sorry! 🙂

Diet Coke Board:  One of the most popular items in my Etsy shop!  If you know a Diet Coke lover then this is the PERFECT little Christmas gift!  Funny and quirky.  

$25 Amazon Gift Card:  And, of course, one can never go wrong with a gift card to Amazon so they can just go get what they want, am I right?  

$25 Target Gift Card:  Same for a Target Gift Card!  I’ve never seen anyone sad to get one of these as a gift!
