Easter Mantel: He Is Risen

With Easter just around the corner I wanted to get some Easter decorations out and up as soon as possible this year!  I wanted something that was easy, pretty, springy, Easter bunny-y and true-meaning-of-Easter-y.  🙂   I am excited to share what I came up with for my Easter mantel this year!

It was just a matter of pulling out some spring accessories that I already had, adding some scrapbook paper to a couple of books and creating a couple of printables for my Ikea frames and I was just about done!

The one little crafty project I did was to make a “He is Risen” banner to string across the top of the large frame.  I found these cute thin wooden die cut letters at Hobby Lobby (in the scrapbooking stuff), painted them coral and hot glued them to some baker’s twine.  Easy!  And I love the 3D element of it.

And I always love the chance to put up my cute little birdhouse that I’ve had for years!

This was so much fun to pull together!  And I love the constant reminder of the reason we celebrate Easter mixed with traditional Easter symbols.  I hope you’re enjoying pulling out your Easter decor and springifying your space!  Create an Easter mantel for your own home to celebrate the season!
