I finally am ready to share my Easter / Spring Mantel Idea for this year, you guys! It’s nothing fancy or over-the-top amazing but I sure do like the springy feel it has brought into the family room.
I actually decided to reuse a few things from last year… I LOVED how my bunny painting turned out so I wanted to display it again. It makes such a nice “Easter-y” backdrop for the rest of the mantel. I also decided to take my Happy Spring Printable Mini Bunting off of the wreath I had it on and put it on the corner of my bunny painting. I loved it on the wreath but just couldn’t make the wreath work on my mantel this year and that corner was just begging for it! 🙂
I also reused some of my Baker’s Twine Wrapped Easter Eggs (from a couple of years ago) along with my recent Confetti Painted Easter Eggs to fill up a glass vase for a little sumpin’ sumpin’.
I got that cute green tin planter from Ikea… I love how they have them in seasonal colors. I put some floral foam in the bottom and then stuck in some fake daisies. Someday I might do real flowers, but today is not that day. 🙂

Oh, and as for the bead board, I bought some at Home Depot a while ago and literally HOT GLUED it onto a piece of foam core. I wanted something to use as a backdrop for my photos and then realized it would be super cute on my mantel too! Not bad for about $11, huh?
So that’s it! Bunnies galore this year! Are you decorating for spring and/or Easter?
