If you’re looking for an easy way to spruce up a plain bulletin board read on! See how I changed a blah brown cork board into a custom Monogram Bulletin Board with just some paint and a little time!
Recently, Brynn (my 9 yo daughter) and I decided to change up the colors in her room a bit. We were going down a path of turquoise, yellow and grey and we just weren’t loving it. It was cute but we were thinking it needed a little more….oomph. Just a bit more ba-da-bing! you know? Turquoise is her favorite color and grey was already on the walls so those two colors were staying. We decided to try a little coral and LOVED it! I put it up to a vote on Instagram (@landeelu) and you all loved the coral and a few suggested adding in a bit of navy… perfection! We now love the coral, navy, turquoise and grey color combination and are moving ahead on completing her room!
I got a largish bulletin board from Hobby Lobby (with my 40% off coupon it was around $8). Then I painted the entire thing white using regular ol’ craft paint. I let this dry completely.
