A simple Christmas mantel using fresh Christmas garland!
In an attempt to keep my Christmas decorating somewhat simple and low maintenance, I decided to try and re-use as many elements as possible without purchasing anything this year. Part of that was that I am done trying to store a million things (see my Decluttering Mindset post here). So my new thing is that I am going to try and use fresh greenery as much as possible! No more storing garlands, yay!
I reused my GOLD CHRISTMAS LIGHTS that I DIYed a few years ago (still a fave!) as well as my Faux Fur Peace sign I made last year. That made this mantel come together in no time!
The addition of 9 feet of fresh cedar Christmas garland from Costco (only $16 for 25 feet!) was truly dreamy. You can see how I keep my Christmas garland (and other fresh greenery) looking fresh and green for weeks HERE!
And, of course, as much as I tried to resist, I couldn’t NOT buy a few things from the new Hearth & Home collection at Target (see below, contains affiliate links). I love all of it! Just a few little touches though. I feel like I controlled myself quite well. 🙂
Merry Christmas to you & your family!
