I was appalled the other day when I realized that my poor children had never had NO BAKE COOKIES. Can you even imagine? Worst. Mom. Ever. I grew up on these things! I needed to change this fact immediately so I dug out my Chocolate No Bake Cookies recipe (from the 80s– the best decade, of course) and whipped up a batch!
I had forgotten how amazingly simple these are to make and somehow I had forgotten how delicious they are! Well now I am reminded and my kids are now their biggest fans. I’m guessing I’ll be making many more batches of these in the future!
I melted some white chocolate candy melts in a sandwich baggie and then microwaved them in 15 second increments until they melted. Then I snipped the corner of the baggie and drizzled it over the cookies to make them look a little fancier. No bake cookies aren’t the prettiest cookie on the block but man, oh, man are they yummy.
