I am trying to pull my Halloween mantel together this year before October 1st and I think I’m going to make it! I’ve decided on a predominantly black & white color scheme with some touches of orange and a lot of silvery bling. I’m loving it so far! Today I’m sharing a banner I made as one more element to add as I get this thing going… a Buffalo Check Halloween Banner!Me, along with basically everyone, is loving buffalo check right now. It’s clean, simple and classic. I added some cute orange Halloween designs to a few of them and boom! Halloween banner, made and ready.
If you’d like to make one too, here is what you’ll need:
- Free printable buffalo check banner (download HERE).
- Mat template (optional, but I like the look with black cardstock behind… download HERE).
- twine
- hole punch
- gluestick (if matting your pennants on cardstock)
Cut out your pennants as well as your mats using the template (if you so desire) and glue a pennant on each mat. Allow to dry. Punch holes in corners of pennants and thread twine through. Hang and enjoy!
Inexpensive, easy and can be completed in about 20 minutes. My kind of decorating!
Happy Halloween crafting!
