It’s Halloween mantel time!! I’m not a crazy Halloween decorations person but I do love to gussy up my mantel whenever a new holiday or season rolls around. And Halloween is one of my favorites! With Halloween you can go glitzy or spooky, cute or vintage… really, anything goes when All Hallow’s Eve is coming up on the calendar. This year my Halloween mantel is actually quite eclectic. It’s a little spooky, a little cute and a ton of fun!
It was easy to pull together with the help of a few things from the Target Halloween decorations aisle. $12 in decor (black “spooky” fabric, mice cut outs–they are intended to be dinner place holders that you write on with chalk, and that cute $3 Happy Halloween bunting) and I was all set!
All I needed to do was pull out my DIY Mercury Glass Halloween candle holders, create a big BOO printable (you can download it below!) and paint a wood round from Lowe’s! I use these wood rounds ALL. THE. TIME. They are inexpensive and so easy to customize!
And a little stack of pumpkins I got at the grocery store was the finishing touch.

You can print it in either 16×20 or 8×10 size.
It really only took me about 30 minutes to pull all of these elements together… I love it when that happens!
This might be the only area of my house that gets festive this Halloween but I definitely think it gets the job done. Do you decorate your whole house or just certain areas when it comes to Halloween?
