Today’s project could NOT be easier. Truly. But, at the same time, it’s the perfect touch to your next backyard BBQ! That bandana pattern means summer to me, for whatever reason, so adding them into your party decor brings a fantastic casual, summery feel. And they are so inexpensive ($1 each) that they are just begging to be used in the summer festivities!
I love having a lot of the prep work done and things organized before entertaining guests so I have always been a fan of wrapping up a napkin and utensils together for friends to grab and go as they are getting their burgers hot off the grill. So why not wrap them up and tie them with a little strip of bandana, ya know? There’s literally no reason not to. 🙂
It’s even easier when you see I don’t even cut the strips!
Gather your bandanas and wrap up your utensils in a napkin. These would be so cute with red, white and blue for the 4th of July, don’t you think!
Make snips in the edge of your bandana about an inch or so apart.
And then just tear at the snips! They rip nice and straight and give the strips a fun texture at the edges that you couldn’t get if you cut them cleanly with scissors.
Then put them out for your guests and you’re the hostess with the mostess!
These would also be adorable paired with my No-Sew Bandana Banner I made last summer!
Make sure to PIN THIS IMAGE and go grab some Bandanas to make these LATER:
