Without making myself sound like an idiot….where can we pick up that twine. I’ve been wanting to get some and never seem to come across it.
psssst. love the eggs! thanks for sharing.
You can get it at a joann fabrics or walmart it is a all cotton yarn
I got mine at the dollar store. 4 colors for $1…
I meant Dollar Tree…I usually just refer to them all as the dollar store. Sorry
Ive also found small spoons (two colors) at my local dollar tree. I believe in the kids section but that might change in different areas
I saw the twine at the Dollar Tree. But our Dollar Tree didn’t have a variety of colors. They only had one color.
You can find the twine here…http://www.thetwinery.com/
These are adorable!! Would love it if you would link them up at my turquoise lovin’ party!! http://www.sweetlittlegals.com
Really cute! 🙂
ADORABLE! yes ma’am!
I also worked on some eggs this weekend too & after a few figured out this way was best. I used several types of yarn to cover mine but yours look gorgeous!
Adorable!!!!!!!!!!!
The choice of twine was a good one, your eggs look great. I used yarn and just wrapped like crazy. I think I need some mod podge– I’ve seen it used in a ton of projects lately. Is it just a type of craft glue? I’m sure I’ll find it at JoAnn’s or Michaels. Thanks for sharing your idea!
LOVE!
These are SO CUTE! I hope you will link this and any other great Spring/Easter projects up to my Hippity Hop Easter Project Hop!

So creative!
Great idea! A great way to save money on baker’s twine is to use a twist cotton yarn (I think it’s sugar n creme). Got mine on sale (and with teacher’s discount) for $1/ball. More yarn, less money. These eggs are so adorable – going to have to give them a go!
What an awesome idea! I have the materials already and am so excited to give this a try. Thanks for the great tutorial. If you have a chance I’d love for you to link this up on my Destination: Inspiration linky party going on now at Teagan’s Travels!

About how many yards of twine would I need for 1? I see it is sold in sampler packs of 15 yds. Is that enough for 1 egg?
Those are amazing!! Love it! I might have to try that next year 😉

LOL I am so glad someone asked about the twine, I’ve been wanting to know for a long while and was too chicken to ever ask. 😀
Hi, how much twine per egg?
These eggs are adorable and so different. Love them. Appreciate you sharing your idea.
Thank you Joyce! And thanks for stopping by!
Hello, how are you? I had feature your beautiful craft in my blog (www.myhousetucasa.com/en) , I hope you don’t mind. Have a nice day!
These are cute. You can also find twine through “rosary” making web sites. I have been making knotted rosaries for a couple of years now and find all sorts of colors and combination of colors. The cones of twine are between 9 12 dollars a cone. The cones are about a pound which is equivalent to about 500 feet.
Since I end up with scraps of twine from 6 – 12 inches I have been searching for some crafts to use these for. Any ideas?
