Yesterday I was browsing through the Target Dollar Spot and “spotted” these adorable lightbulb sticky notes! I had to have them. It was literally out of my control. I just knew they’d be the perfect little gift for my kids’ new teachers this year (T-minus 4 days, by the way)! I know teachers have enough knick-knacks to choke the proverbial horse and really, how much chocolate can one teacher eat? Well, if I were a teacher I could eat a LOT of chocolate but not all teachers have issues like I do.
So I thought these would be perfect! They are so cute and the teachers could actually USE them. I’m also a big fan of pre-year gifts for the teachers…. then when something eventually happens (especially with the one kid) the teacher will be like “Well, they did give me that super cute present at the beginning of the year so….” Trust me, it works.
Anyway, so today I’m sharing the cutest little $1 gift to start buttering up the teachers right off the bat. Run to your local Target and raid the dollar section, quick!
Supplies Needed:
- $1 light bulb shaped sticky notepad from Target Dollar Spot (or even square neon shaped sticky notes would work!)
- My Future is Bright printable tag you can download HERE.
- Any embellishments you so desire (I added a little washi tape).
Just print out the tag and fold it around the top of the packaging and adhere it! Leave it as is or embellish to your heart’s content. Have your child sign the back and you’ll be setting yourself up for a great school year!**
**I can’t be held responsible for a bad school year. A lightbulb sticky note pad can only do so much. 🙂

That is a super cute idea.

These are adorable. My son is entering first grade and his classroom has an owl theme. I snatched up the owl sticky notes from Target’s dollar spot for his teacher!
Super cute!! I love sticky notes for teachers!! Thanks for the great idea!!
Such a fun idea! I love the fact that this is actually usable for the teacher! And that for such a small prize!
By the way, I found your post all over Pinterest!!
Thanks for the adorable idea. I am so curious… how do you make the tags? Do you have a special program?
You’re hilarious… love your projects, love how you write. 🙂
