One of my favorite holidays is coming up…the 4th of July! I love to decorate for the 4th and the celebrating is so low key and kick back…pancake breakfasts, barbecues, picnics, relaxing with friends & family… it’s all good stuff right there. If you are awesome enough to host such a gathering I wanted to share a cute 4th of July party idea to do ahead of time and make your party just that much more patriotic!
These 4th of July Utensil holders don’t take long to put together and will add some fun to your party this summer!
What you’ll need:
- napkins (I got these red gingham ones from Ikea last year)
- plastic ware (obvs)
- variety of Little Bitty Bags (I used white polka dot, white diagonal stripe and plain brown kraft)
- Love Mail petite stickys
- Air Mail Divine Twine
- navy cardstock punched with a 1 1/4 inch round punch
All you need to do is fold your napkin as shown above and tie a bitty bag around it using the Divine Twine. (I ended up liking it better without having the ends of the twine showing but it’s cute either way!)
Next, back your Love Mail sticky with the navy cardstock you’ve punched out and attach it to the twine using a glue dot or another adhesive. Slip your plastic utensils in and you’re done!
Put them in a basket or bucket at your picnic table and make it easy for guests to grab and get to eating your delicious food!
PIN the image below to make them again next year!
Speaking of barbecue, here are two of our favorite things to grill on the 4th or anytime!
Have a wonderful day and 4th of July!
Love this, just pinned! I’m also headed over to check out that flank steak recipe.
So cute!
Thank you Rebecca!!
