Fall Mantel

I love decorating for the holidays.  I really do.  But I also get a strange satisfaction out of ripping it all down and putting up something else.

Well, I got to "ripping" ASAP and re-did my mantel.

I used the same idea as my Halloween mantel but just changed up the elements a little.

Harvest-y fall goodness.

I was excited to switch out my Halloween subway art board with my new fall one I made at our craft night!

And I love this store-bought garland I got a few years ago.

I can FEEL myself becoming more grateful already.  :)

PS A couple of people have wondered about my "window pane" there (hi cousin Angelica!)... it's actually a cabinet door that I assume used to have glass in it.  My friend was throwing it away after they had put a kitchen in their basement!  What the?  Exactly.  So glad I was there to spot it, rescue it, and adopt it.  Keep an eye out, people!
