Anyway, I realized I never posted my last final Halloween touches I put up right before we left. If you're totally OVER Halloween decor at this point, try to not be too annoyed.
I prettied up my plain light fixture in the kitchen by scotch taping up some black & white ribbon and wrapping a $10 Target "fall berry garland" around its innards. Nothing ground breaking here but I love it.
Then, in the entry, I put this adorable vinyl "crow cage" up that I ordered from here.
It would be so cute in white or cream but I needed it to be spooky so I went black and had her give me a crow for a pet rather than a nice dove or something. I like him. I think I'll name him Edgar Allen Poe Nevermore. Mr. Crow for short.
I added some self-adhesive rhinestones for a bit of dimension and Halloween glitz.
I have been at a loss on how to decorate my blue entry for All Hallow's Eve but I think this should suffice for this year.
Now to get some costumes and we will be all set! Actually I need to ASK my kids what they want to be first and THEN get some costumes. I know, I'm a little behind. It's like this every year, trust me. Please tell me you're the same way.

so classy and elegant! Love it!
Looks fabulous Landee! I'm SOOO over the Halloween decor also. Glad you said it! That's what I love about your blog...you say what we all are thinking. Good job :).
It looks perfect, just like I would expect! :) Oh, and yes, I am the same way... we have no costumes yet, either. My 10-year old has pneumonia so he doesn't really care about the costume situation yet, but his little brother wants to be an angry bird. I guess I should get busy shopping!

Ooo, Landee! It's all so wonderful! When I first saw the light fixture all dolled up I thought, that's not in HER house is it? It looks like it came straight out of a magazine! GREAT JOB!!!
I love how you incorporated the turquoise with the Halloween decor. I too had that same problem this year. You did a beautiful job letting the colors work together.
Oh Landee, you give me hope that my house can always look good in a house full of boys. I have my husband and three sons. I got a little girl at the end so I'm not totally outnumbered!
Keep up the good/wonderful/inspirational work!!!
Where did you get your kitchen light fixture? I love it!
