Don't you just love colorful paper bags? They are so versatile and can be embellished for all kinds of things. Plus they are only about $2.99 for 10 of them. The perfect price.
Here is a quick tutorial on how to make these paper bag lanterns:
Tada!
Repeat in a few different sizes and colors of paper bags and you've got yourself a delightful centerpiece for any party!
Add some battery powered tea lights and they are perfect for an evening dinner party. Ambiance anyone?
By the way, I spray painted that dark turquoise bag. I could only find white in that size and that just wasn't working for me. The light didn't come through it but it sure looked cute! :)

ok, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE YOUR BLOG! I have been checking out all the different things that you have posted and I want to try everything...this could take awhile. What do I try first????
really like the idea but I am pretty sure they can be made with colorful copy paper. start by gluing the short sides of the sheet together, then score the center, fold accordion style and punch holes at the top and bottom. same effect and much cheaper.
Such a nice idea for inexpensive centerpieces; thanks Landee!
